Deep Listening 4-day Course

Learn and practie the profound practice of Deep Listening®, a creative philosophy initiated by the renowned American composer Pauline Oliveros. This four-day course is set in the scenic Nordingrå Konstby in Höga Kusten. Participants will be guided by certified instructors Sharon Stewart and Björn Eriksson. Led by certified experts Sharon Stewart and Björn Eriksson, both who have learned from Pauline Oliveros, this course offers an immersive experience into sound and music, movement, and dream work.

Participants will engage in daily activities that combine movement exercises, sound performances, and dream exploration. There will be various activities conducted, fostering both individual creativity and collaborative artistry. This workshop, affiliated to the Center for Deep Listening at Rensellaer, is tailored for those keen to deepen their understanding and practice of listening.

Explore your creativity through structured sound work, physical movement, and introspective dream analysis. You get the opportunity to delve into collaborative creation and personal artistic endeavors, ideal for artists, musicians, and anyone interested in expanding their creative horizons. With the serene backdrop of Höga Kusten, participants will find inspiration and tranquility, enhancing their workshop experience.
